In today's Team Pursuit B final we lost to team Poland to finish 4th overall. More to come on our overall result shortly!
After the first two rounds of the Team Pursuit we'll be fighting for the bronze medal against team Poland. I'll give a full breakdown after the finals wrap up tomorrow. Wish us luck!!
If you didn't get a chance to see the results yet from today's 1500m, I finished 28th in a time of 1:48.51.
I'm actually quite happy with my 1500 here at the Games. Not because of the result, but because of how I skated it. I felt great in my prep, had some of the best race focus I've had all year, and I executed my race as planned. To be able to look back on my prep with no regrets is an awesome feeling! The best part is that some of the positive changes I've made technically have really only started to become apparent in the past couple of days. So with another week before the team pursuit it's going to be a lot of fun building on that momentum as I prepare to race the TP again with Mathieu and Denny. It's never over until it's over!!
